Some strange person who keeps tabs on my gallery may have noticed it has just gotten...smaller.  I went through a bunch of my old work, and was predictably horrified.  Nobody likes their old work, amirite?

So I deleted the all the stuff that was outrageously bad (and I mean truly, truly outrageous) and the stuff that was less bad but still not great but I didn't have the heart to delete (YET) has been moved to my scraps.  There's still plenty which probably shouldn't be in my gallery anymore, but I just couldn't get rid of it all because then my gallery would be so tiny!  

I like keeping my old stuff around, to a point.  I like seeing how much I have or have not improved.  Things I've learned: I don't draw anime anymore, and I don't do as much color as I used to.  I'm gonna rectify that second one.

So I'm far and away from a decent scanner.  The scanner I have right now can pick up inks okay, but as far as pencils go, its just awful (as you may have noticed from the poor quality of my latest post which I assure you looks a lot better in person).  I'm having trouble doing digital works, mainly because I havent figured out how to straight draw/paint in photoshop to my satisfaction.  I much prefer open canvas and keeping photoshop for the cleanup/editing part, but I don't have the program anymore   I'm working on it! Promise!

At any rate, I'm getting a new scanner...for Christmas.  I've picked out a good one that picks up SOOO much greyscale, I'm in love.  Maybe I'll be able to get it sooner but until then I'll have to keep posting infrequently with whatever manages to scan okay on my current piece of junk.

DANG! I have been out for a looong time.  So here's what's happening-- first off, I got a new computer and it's got the dreaded microsoft vista.  Ergo, my tablet has not been functinal for some time.

I haven't been drawing half as much as I'd like to and nobody is more sorry about that than me.  My computer and massive schoolwork have combined and risen against me so my production level is at a standing near-zero.  

So I apoligize to DAers, I have a backlog of comments and I can't answer them all, and I havent been keeping up with my watch list either.  I'm going to try and rectify that as soon as winter break starts.

In the meantime, thank you everyone who's been visitng my gallery.  Hopefully I'll be adding some new stuff soon for you to enjoy!

so....could somebody explain this whole DA print selling thing to me?  Do I have to make the prints myself or does somebody in DA do that?  Do I need a paypal account?

just a note on the resolution quality of some of my works.  When I draw on a tablet without a scanned sketch base, my pictures tend to be small, thus when I get into complicated shadings and minipulations the resolution may look a little poor and I hearby apologize
